PICU Development Center

The mission of the Forrest Spence Fund PICU Development Center is to promote the overall health and well-being of children impacted by critical illness and injury. The PICU Development Center will serve as an avenue to promote recovery through encouraging movement, play, and social interaction to meet goals and decrease PICU admission time.

The Forrest Spence Fund PICU Development Center is located within the PICU at the Children's Hospital at Erlanger and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Le Bonheur’s PICU Development Center is named in memory of Kim Holloway who both professionally and personally served and loved so many PICU patients as a respiratory therapist.

The PICU Developmental Center houses necessary items for trained developmental staff (i.e., therapists and child life specialists) to promote the health and wellbeing of children in the PICU.

If you are interested in donating to our PICU development center in Memphis, please reach out to marilyn@forrestspencefund.org and for Chattanooga, please reach out to alora@forrestspencefund.org.
