11. Tim Flack - Senior Attorney
Our guest Tim Flack is currently serving as Senior Attorney for Memphis CHiLD, Children’s Health Law Directive at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Memphis CHiLD is an innovative alliance between the University of Memphis Law School, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, Memphis Area Legal Services, and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center that provides legal services to low-income pediatric patients and their families. Tim is an old friend of the Fund and we were delighted to have a conversation with him about the many ways he and his team can support families with a critically or chronically ill child.
Tim has a true passion for the work of both Le Bonheur and Memphis CHiLD which stems from his own family’s experience at Le Bonheur. In this episode, Tim shared not only about his career but also how his oldest daughter Madeline was diagnosed with four congenital heart defects and underwent open heart surgery at Le Bonheur in March, 2006.
