31. Leigh-anna Liddell - A Family Story
Blake and Leigh-anna Liddell both grew up in Memphis, TN where they attended the same high school and college but didn’t start dating until a few years after college. In 2007, they were married, and in 2010, they suffered a devastating miscarriage. They got pregnant again in 2011 and moved to Toronto, Canada where their sweet Gracie Jane was born healthy on August 16, 2012. A few days later their world was turned upside down when they received the news that Gracie had Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin disease that not only affected her skin but also her interior linings. After a long fight, Gracie Jane went to heaven a few weeks shy of her first birthday. We hope you take a listen to hear their journey with Gracie Jane, IVF treatments, and adoption. Their family of four now lives in London, UK.
