Love Letters are for Everyone

Some gifts don’t cost money and don’t require shopping. In fact, sometimes the best gift is an unexpected note of encouragement or a simple “I love you and am thinking of you.” No matter your age, you can make someone smile by slipping a  kind card into their lunch box, putting a sticky note on the front door, or jotting down a few thoughtful words to leave on their desk.

Love letters aren’t only for couples, you can send a letter with love no matter who you are. Whether you are a friend, grandma, cousin, teacher, co-worker, father, or mother, you can give the gift of love and encouragement today by writing a letter and sharing it with someone you love!

Below are a few more ideas for writing a letter to someone you love:

  • Send a note to school with your child for them to discover at lunchtime

  • Leave a letter for your spouse to find in a book they’re reading, or on their nightstand

  • Mail a letter to someone who lives far away from you

  • Put sticky notes on the bathroom mirror or in the car for a loved one to find

  • Surprise a teacher or co-worker by leaving a note on their desk

  • Put a letter in a suitcase when a loved one is going on a trip so they can read it when they are gone
